Following its official approval at Buckingham Palace, the NEW King Charles III Coronation Anniversary Silver Proof £5 Coin will be struck in 925/1000 Sterling Silver to the most peerless Proof finish on ONE-DAY-ONLY, Monday 6th May 2024, exactly a year since His Majesty was crowned. Created by leading engraver Jody Clark, this NEW limited edition release features a reverse inspired by the Cosmati Pavement, Westminster Abbey’s iconic flooring, plus the four emblems of the United Kingdom and the famous Tudor Crown in the centre. Meanwhile, appearing on the obverse is an official portrait of the sovereign, also by Clark, who is most well-known for designing the UK’s fifth and final official definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
